A South Florida native, Anthony Richard Yanez concentrates his practice on consumer finance and commercial litigation matters. He has experience with commercial disputes, enforcement of commercial loan documents, consumer financial services, catastrophic personal injury and premises liability actions, probate litigation, and all aspects of civil litigation.
As a member of the consumer financial services team, Anthony also regularly represents lenders and financial institutions in a variety of consumer finance litigation matters in federal and state court, including disputes under TILA, RESPA, FCRA, ECOA and FDCPA, state law UDAP claims, and a variety of common law claims.
In addition, he has experience working on a variety of commercial and corporate litigation matters in state and federal courts, including motion practice, depositions, discovery, pre-trial, mediations and resolutions, dispositive motions, evidentiary hearings, contested trials, and appeals.
During law school, he served as an editor for the University ofMiami International and Comparative Law Review. He earned Book Awards in the subjects of Business Associations and Sports Law.
While an undergraduate at Notre Dame, Anthony was inducted into Beta Alpha Psi, the national accountancy honor fraternity.
