Ariel Harris is an associate in Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP’s Charlotte office where she focuses primarily on business litigation, complex commercial disputes, employment and labor litigation, financial services litigation, healthcare litigation, and sports law.
She represents clients in a variety of contract settings involving commercial contracts, business torts, insurance coverage, and unfair business practices and methods of competition.
She has experience in securing and defending against temporary restraining orders and preliminary injunctions in order to protect employers’ business strategies. She also has experience training human resources personnel about complying with employment laws and drafting corporate policies and procedures to ensure full compliance with employment laws.
Ms. Harris represents companies before the North Carolina Business Court and in both state and federal courts. She has experience before the North Carolina Court of Appeals, as well as experience before the Office of Administrative Hearings in a variety of contested cases for clients affected by state agency actions.
