Arshi Siddiqui helps clients navigate complex legislative and regulatory challenges on a wide range of issues. She joined the firm after having served on Speaker Pelosi’s leadership staff since 2003. In that capacity, she provided strategic and substantive counsel to members on various legislative priorities, including tax legislation and health insurance reform, as well as bipartisan efforts related to the financial crisis, economic recovery, innovation, trade and energy legislation.
Arshi worked closely with the relevant committees, House and Senate leadership, the administration and members of Congress to develop policy, formulate strategy and build support toward the enactment of key pieces of legislation.Before joining the Speaker’s office, Arshi represented corporate clients before Congress and the executive branch. She first began her career on Capitol Hill as a policy aide to Rep.
Eva Clayton (D-NC) and subsequently was Ways and Means counsel to Rep. Xavier Becerra (D-CA). She has also worked on a number of congressional and presidential campaigns, as well as coordinating recount efforts in a number of contested races.
