Asad Ali is a member of the Florida Bar and practices in the area of Criminal Defense. Mr. Ali graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Florida State University College of Law.
While in law school, Mr. Ali was a recipient of a scholarship sponsored by the Blank-Miller Scholarship Fund. He was also the Executive Editor of the Journal of land Use and Environmental law.
Also, while in law school, he investigated alleged violations of the Fair Housing Act while interning at the Florida Commission on Human Relations. In his final year of law school, Mr. Ali represented clients in family law matters as a Certified Legal Intern while also working as a mentor in the Teen Court Program.
After graduating from law school, Mr. Ali began his legal career at a statewide insurance defense firm, where he defended a wide array of personal injury cases. He later joined the Public Defender’s Office in Tampa, Florida, where he successfully represented hundreds of indigent clients charged with various criminal offenses. Mr. Ali believed that each client’s case requires individualized and personal attention.
While at the Public Defender’s Office, Mr. Ali vehemently and zealously advocated for his clients and developed strong litigation skills which has helped him to become the successful lawyer he is today.
In his spare time, Mr. Ali enjoys traveling, spending time with family, working out, and doing drone photography.
