Ashleigh Allione is a member of the firm’s Nonprofit Organizations Practice and Political Law Practice Groups. Ashleigh advises nonprofit organizations and trade associations on entity formation and related corporate governance matters, federal and state tax exemption, and other transactional matters.
She counsels clients on fundraising regulation and cause marketing efforts, including compliance with state charitable solicitation registration and commercial co-venture promotions. Clients rely on Ashleigh for compliance guidance on federal and state political laws.
She advises corporations and their PACs, nonprofits, political committees, and politically active individuals on campaign finance and election laws, state and federal lobbying registration and disclosure, and gift and ethics rules.
She also advises on personal financial disclosure requirements for congressional members and staff. Ashleigh manages lobbying compliance, including registration and reporting, for multiple clients who have lobbyists working nationwide.
While earning her law degree, Ashleigh served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Reggie B. Walton of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.
