Ashlynn McCarthy, aka Ashley Lynn, is an attorney in Colorado focusing her practice on areas such as mediation, debt defense, and settlement and negotiation. She is the owner and managing attorney of the law firm Riveter Law LLC.
She is originally from rural Mississippi and understands that rural residents usually do not have access to effective legal aid as they cannot spend money on expensive legal costs.
Attorney McCarthy primarily handles cases concerning the settling of debts to avoid garnishment. She holds the highest certification of mediation and has a rich experience both as a mediator and settlement negotiator in cases related to personal and business debts.
She attended high school in rural Mississippi and went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree with Honors in English Literature from Mississippi University for Women. She moved California and attended the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento while there.
She became a member of the distinguished Inn of Court – Anthony M. Kennedy Chapter, an organization designed to promote ethics and civility in the practice of law and amongst members of the bar, while in law school.
She moved back to Mississippi, after completing her Juris Doctorate, to assist with a family tragedy. She founded a scholarship in honor of her late brother.
She taught legal writing to both undergraduate and graduate students at Mississippi State University as an adjunct professor. She moved to Colorado after a year.
She joined a private international school specializing in the International Baccalaureate Program as the Head of School. While working there, she oversaw the school-wide commitment to the IBO program and curriculum and also taught ESL to foreign middle school students.
She obtained the license to practice law in Colorado in the year 2014. She went on to open an immigration law firm and practiced there for quite some time. Later she opened a solo practice firm in her name in 2015, which was later renamed Riveter Law, LLC.
