Currently, Barb is an active member of LawPact, an international association of independent business law firms. LawPact is dedicated to improving the management of their members’ practices and assisting members evaluate growth strategies for their practices.
LawPact also gives Minor & Brown the ability to provide input to clients on national and international matters. Barb is a graduate of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Denver Alumni Program. In addition, she has served as the President of the Denver Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and has been on the Board of several not-for-profit organizations.
She has received numerous awards from civic organizations including: the US Small Business Administration, Colorado District; Girl Scouts, Mile High Council; and the Colorado Women’s Leadership Coalition.
In addition to all of her legal responsibilities, Barb has one more responsibility to uphold at all times…provide the office with a mascot! An animal lover, Barb is an official Puppy Raiser for Guide Dogs for the Blind and is rarely seen around the office without a new, four-footed recruit.
