Mr. Barry Klingman, the head of the tax department, has had more than 40 years of experience in all areas of taxation, with a particular emphasis on structuring commercial transactions.
He has advised a wide variety of clients, ranging from high net worth individuals and family owned businesses to Fortune 100 companies, including foreign companies seeking to invest in the U.S. and U.S. companies seeking to invest overseas. He has also represented clients in controversies with federal, state and local taxing authorities.
Mr. Klingman has contributed to a number of tax journals including The International Tax Journal and the Tax Adviser and has lectured at a number of international tax seminars and other programs.
