Bella is an attorney with substantial experience in negotiation strategy, transactional/deal flow, domestic and international intellectual property law.
With 20 years of IP experience, both in a law firm and in-house settings, her practice has spanned over 120 countries worldwide, and has provided an opportunity to develop a sophisticated network of foreign counsel, investigators, finance and real estate sources and clients globally, with special emphasis on Europe, Eastern Europe, North and South America, Middle East and Asia.
Bella has managed and enforced worldwide trademark portfolios and advised clients in various industries, including food and beverages, restaurant, nutritional, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, entertainment, fashion and apparel, consumer and luxury goods, import and export, alternative energy and green technology.
She has counseled clients on trademark clearance, registration, licensing, anti-counterfeiting and enforcement, unfair competition issues, complex global trademark filing programs, and domestic and international opposition and infringement actions.
Bella assists clients in negotiating assignments, licenses, coexistence and various other commercial agreements and manages international trademark litigation and multi-country conflicts.
She also advises clients on related IP transactional issues in the context of IP portfolio audits, due diligence for acquisitions or divestitures, brand development and expansion, and agreements for related corporate IP transactions.
Prior to joining Olshan, Bella practiced with the law firms of Fross Zelnick, Ostrolink Faber and Gursky & Associates in New York City and was the Vice President of Intellectual Property at World Wrestling Entertainment. Bella is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in the state of New York. She was born in Odessa, Ukraine and speaks Russian fluently.
