Bennett Boyd Anderson Jr

Bennett Boyd Anderson Jr. was raised in Lafayette, LA., graduating from Lafayette High School and The University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He obtained his Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School in 1975 at age 23. Since 1975, Mr. Anderson has practiced law continuously, specializing in Louisiana plaintiff personal injury and wrongful death litigation from offshore/maritime incidents, auto, and workplace accidents.

He has a Board Certification in Civil Trial Advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and has been honored as one of the “Best Lawyers in America” (2016). Mr. Anderson has been designated as one of Louisiana’s outstanding personal injury attorneys (“Super Lawyers”) 2008-2016.

He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Mr. Anderson has been awarded the Presidential Award by the Lafayette Bar Association and is a lifetime charter member of the Rue Ratings “Best Attorneys in America.”

Additionally, Mr. Anderson has served as an officer and/or director of many legal and civic organizations, including the Lafayette General Hospital Foundation (Board of Directors), IberiaBank (Advisory Board), Lafayette Bar Association (Secretary, Treasurer, Vice-President) and Louisiana Bar Foundation (Board of Directors).

He is a member of the Louisiana and American Bar Associations as well as the Louisiana Association for Justice and the American Association for Justice. Mr. Anderson has exclusively practiced plaintiff personal injury law in the Acadiana area for more than 30 years. He has been honored as a speaker many times at personal injury/maritime and personal injury/trial practice seminars.
