
Bethany obtained her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Michigan and attended Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City. After graduating from Cardozo, she was admitted to practice in the state of New York and was subsequently admitted in the State of Michigan in 2011.
While in law school, Bethany represented clients pro bono before Administrative Law Judges as an advocate for claimants who were denied unemployment compensation benefits. She also has experience before family law judges in domestic violence cases and before labor law arbitrators. She was a semi-finalist in Cardozo’s intramural moot court competition.
Since joining Kwitoski & Associates, Bethany has been a fierce advocate for her clients. She has achieved successful results for clients from application through appeal, and has written a number of winning briefs at the Appeals Council level and in the U.S. District Court. Bethany is a member of the Michigan Bar Association Social Security Lawyers Section and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives.
She is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. Bethany has also been accredited to practice as an attorney before the US Department of Veterans Affairs.
