Bethany R. Nelson focuses her practice on trademark and copyright law. Prior to joining the firm, Bethany was a law clerk for the Honorable Orinda D. Evans in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
While attending law school, Bethany worked as a summer associate with the firm in 2015 and 2016 where she assisted in research and drafting for trademark matters. She also served as a research assistant for Professor Urska Velikonja where she analyzed the quantity and type of past SEC enforcement actions. Bethany was Executive Articles Editor of the Emory Law Journal and First Honor Graduate.
Prior to launching her legal career, Bethany was a Portfolio Management Analyst for an investment bank in Atlanta, Georgia where she assisted portfolio managers in managing $3 billion in loan portfolios and more than 30 clients in the bank’s Consumer Retail and Healthcare Groups.
