Blake Buchanan combines a background in hardware and software development with intellectual property law skills to provide a unique business and engineering perspective in product design, business development and patent prosecution.
Blake provides patent prosecution and portfolio management for various Fortune 50 and mid-sized businesses in the civil industry and for government contractors, working with inventors and business management professionals, in-house counsel and CEOs. Before joining the team, Blake was an associate at the world’s largest law firm. As an electrical engineer, Blake worked in both the civil industry and for government contractors.
Blake’s clients work in a variety of technical fields such as aerospace, computer hardware and software, digital and analog circuits, biomedical electronics, mechanical technology, networks, semiconductors, microprocessors, wireless technology, electrical materials, optics, cyber security, and additive manufacturing.
