Blake R. Cushing is an associate in the Litigation Department. Blake graduated from Georgetown University Law Center, where he was a senior editor on the Georgetown Environmental Law Review.
While at Georgetown, he worked as a student attorney in the Domestic Violence Clinic and obtained protective orders on behalf of victims of domestic abuse falling under the jurisdiction of the DC Superior Court. He also worked as a legal intern in the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office’s Misdemeanor Unit.
Prior to law school, Blake worked as Director of Policy Research in Public Safety in the Mayor’s Office of San Francisco, where he engaged in a wide range of duties relating to law enforcement, cross-municipal intelligence and information sharing, emergency management, and the criminal justice system.
