Bo Moon

Bo Moon is an intellectual property lawyer who focuses on intellectual property, patent, and technology litigation, with an emphasis on patent-related and trade secret matters. Bo’s extensive experience in the technology industry gives her a unique perspective on intellectual property matters. Before joining O’Melveny, Bo worked as a software application analyst for Siemens AG, and as an industrial designer for Solid Technologies in Seoul, Korea and LG Electronics Design Technologies in Dublin, Ireland.

Given her background, Bo understands how important it is to protect proprietary technologies and ideas. She works tirelessly to ensure her clients’ extensive research and development are protected.

• Currently representing a global consumer electronics company in a patent infringement litigation relating to near-field communications technology against a patent assertion entity in Eastern District of Texas
• Represented a global consumer electronics company  in a contract dispute against a global operating systems software provider relating to a patent cross-license agreement in Southern District of New York
• Represented a consumer electronics company in a section 337 investigation in the International Trade Commission in an action involving optical disc drives
• Represented a leader in thermal printer design and technology in a patent infringement litigation involving promotional coupon printers in Central District of California
• Represented leading biotechnology companies in a patent infringement litigation involving recombinant Factor VIII for blood coagulation therapy in Eastern District of Texas
