Bob Perez has a domestic and international business transactions practice focusing on alternative and private equity investments, public securities investments, structured investments and financing and joint ventures. Bob also provides educational presentations to public pension funds (both clients and non-clients) and their boards regarding fiduciary, policy and other alternative investment matters.
His primary concentration is on representing and advising the firm’s institutional clients in domestic and international private investments and transactions on an individual and commingled basis, including partnerships and limited liability companies, investment management agreements, transition management agreements, futures agreements, securities lending agreements, custodial agreements and open-and-close-ended commingled fund investments as well as secondary transactions, co-investments, direct company investments and other private and public securities matters.
Additionally, he counsels organizations of various types and sizes, from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies to non-profit and tax-exempt entities with respect to general corporate, business and other legal matters on an on-going basis, with respect to their organization, capitalization, regulatory compliance, contract negotiation, licensing, marketing, liability, investments, and mergers and acquisitions.
