Bonnie Lynn Canty is a highly experienced attorney, the President as well as the owner of the Law Office of Bonnie L. Canty, P.A., also called Canty Law. Her practice areas include Family Law, divorce, bankruptcy, debt settlement, child support, child custody, wills, trusts, power of attorney, credit repair, etc.

She holds the license to practice law in the states of Connecticut, Georgia, New Jersey, New York, and Florida. She has also earned the certificate of a Senior Credit Counsellor.

She is a Board Member of the Society of Financial Career and Credit Counseling Professionals and a member of Florida Bar Association, Palm Beach County Bar Association, and Broward County Bar Association.

She is passionate about providing legal help to people. She started her legal career working at a General Practice in New York and primarily handled cases concerning parenting plans, divorce, and child support.

She also worked on small claims matters, personal injury cases, and real estate closings. She learned the tips and tricks to bring about a positive outcome for her clients by doing whatever it takes much early in her career.

She has gained years of experience in working small as well as large firms, running a not for the profit counseling center, and practicing law in New Jersey, New York, and Florida.

Bonnie L. Canty has engaged herself in numerous speaking engagements and has also served as a Professor at FAU for a few semesters. Her work experience has taught her a lot about human nature, people and different areas of law.

She understands the situation of her clients and tries to simplify the legal process. She keeps the communication open and keeps them informed about the actual status of the case without sugar coating her comments.

Bonnie Lynn Canty has earned her Juris Doctorate from the Hofstra University School of Law and Bachelor’s of Science from the Ramapo College of New Jersey in 1987 and 1984 respectively.
