Bonnie Fletcher Price, Ph.D., focuses her practice on patent litigation, primarily in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical areas, with a focus on Abbreviated New Drug Applications (ANDA) and post-grant proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
Bonnie is involved in all phases of litigation, including pre-litigation analysis, claim construction, fact discovery, expert discovery, and trial preparation. Her experience includes drafting briefs, responding to fact discovery, drafting expert reports, deposition preparation, and trial preparation.
While in law school, Bonnie worked as a law clerk at Finnegan, assisting in federal district court litigation matters. Her pro bono activities include military veteran representation before the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. She is listed on the Capital Pro Bono High Honor Roll.
Prior to joining Finnegan, Bonnie worked as a staff scientist at the National Institute on Aging. Her research focused on identification of cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying age-related cognitive decline.
This work allowed her to gain experience with research tools including: micro-arrays, deep sequencing, RNA Seq, chromatin immunoprecipitation, quantitative immunohistochemistry, in situ RNA quantification, confocal microscopy, stereology, pharmacological interventions and behavioral phenotyping in rodent models. She is an author on eight peer-reviewed publications in scientific journals.
