Bradley H. Dlatt joined Reed Smith in 2016 as an Associate in the firm’s Insurance Recovery Group. His practice focuses on resolving insurance coverage disputes, including assisting with mediation, arbitration, and litigation, on behalf of corporate and individual policyholders in a wide range of industries.
He is experienced in handling coverage disputes arising under, among other areas, directors’ and officers’ (D&O) liability insurance, errors and omissions (E&O) liability insurance, and commercial general liability (CGL) insurance.. Additionally, Bradley has experience in complex commercial litigation matters and white collar defense and investigations.
While in law school, Bradley was a legal intern at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Illinois and a legal extern to the Honorable Ruben Castillo, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Bradley was also a member of the Washington University School of Law Appellate Clinic, where he assisted in the representation of an indigent inmate in an appeal before the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and was a member of the National Moot Court Team, which finished in the top 12 out of 193 teams at the 2016 ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition. In addition, Bradley won the 2015 Wiley Rutledge Moot Court Competition at Washington University School of Law.
