
Bradley P. Goldberg is a Partner and Head of Public Company Advisory Practice – Private Equity at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP. Brad’s practice focuses on advising companies on all aspects of their compliance with the U.S. securities laws and the listing requirements of the major U.S. exchanges.
He regularly counsels management, boards of directors and board committees on a wide range of matters, including SEC and stock exchange reporting and disclosure requirements, board and executive compensation, corporate governance, shareholder proposals, the impact of proxy advisory services, and responses to formal and informal SEC inquiries.
His practice also focuses on new developments and changing best practices in governance matters. Brad’s clients have included clients have included Blackstone, The Carlyle Group, Cohen & Steers, PJT Partners, Summit Materials, The Toronto-Dominion Bank and Weight Watchers. Brad also regularly advises portfolio companies of the Firm’s private equity clients, including in connection with their initial public offerings.
Brad also represented AOL Inc. in its spin-off from Time Warner and ITT Corporation in the spin-offs of its defense and water-related businesses. He received his B.S. in economics from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School, in 1997 and his J.D. at the University of Southern California Law School in 2001, where he was a member of the Southern California Law Review. He is admitted to practice in New York.
