Brady Cox is a senior associate in Alston & Bird’s Intellectual Property Litigation Group in our Dallas office. Brady assists his clients with complex patent disputes and has experience with patents and cases involving a wide variety of technologies, including computer hardware and software, telecommunications and cryptography.
He has represented clients against their competitors or nonpracticing entities and has brought and defended patent disputes before the International Trade Commission and in U.S. district courts across the country, including in the Eastern District of Texas. He is also admitted to practice before the Federal Circuit.
Brady has substantial experience resolving patent disputes outside of the context of litigation. He analyzes patent portfolios (both offensively and defensively) and negotiates patent license agreements.
Brady has a technical background in physics and nanotechnology, which enables him to provide both technical and legal advice to his clients. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law, where he was a Dillard Fellow.
