Bran Noonan is an accomplished litigator and strategic advisor dedicated to protecting the interests of businesses and helping them navigate complex litigation and evaluate risk. He works with companies in various sectors, including education, hospitality, parking services, manufacturing, financial services, media, real estate, healthcare, cannabis, retail, and restaurants.
With extensive experience in state and federal courts, before administrative agencies, and in arbitrations, Bran defends single and multi-plaintiff claims, as well as class and collective actions, under the FLSA, ADA, Title VII, FMLA, ADEA, NLRA, WARN, and New York Human Rights and Labor Laws.
He is also versed in traditional labor law, including grievance arbitrations and NLRB claims. As part of his complex commercial litigation practice, he regularly represents clients in unfair competition, restrictive covenant, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, and partnership disputes.
With respect to his preventative and counseling practice, Bran routinely works with clients to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, and reduce the risks of litigation.
His work includes, among other areas: policy and procedure implementation and roll-outs; terminations and reductions in force; internal investigations and employee discipline; reasonable accommodations, benefits, and leave of absence related issues; wage and hour compliance audits; and employee and management training.
Bran’s transactional experience includes auditing and preparing legally required and best practice employee and operational policies, handbooks, and forms. He has also prepared numerous commercial and employment contracts, such as severance, employment, advertising, service, non-disclosure, non-compete/non-solicitation, joint venture, and license agreements.
Bran also defends companies against public accommodation claims under Title III of the ADA, and state and local human rights laws.
