Brandon J. Middleton-Pratt is an associate in the Austin office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where his practice focuses primarily on private company representation, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings, and general corporate governance.
Brandon also works with entrepreneurs and start-up companies on a broad range of matters, including counseling entrepreneurs in starting new businesses and advising on company formation, capitalization structure, equity compensation arrangements for founders and employees, negotiations with investors and acquirers, and other issues relevant to start-ups.
Prior to joining the firm, Brandon was a corporate associate at Goodwin Procter LLP, where his practice focused primarily on leveraged buyouts, growth equity investments, and venture capital financings, both in the U.S. and internationally. While in law school, Brandon interned at the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) in Vienna, Austria.
Before attending law school, Brandon was a financial analyst in the corporate development department of Andeavor (formerly Tesoro), a refiner and marketer of petroleum products.
