A skilled litigator, Mr. Brandon Rutledge has obtained numerous favorable settlements on behalf of his clients throughout Texas and the U.S. He has rightfully earned a reputation for energetic representation and maintains a broad knowledge of construction law and complex legal transactions.
Prior to joining Peckar & Abramson, Mr. Rutledge served as Litigation and Transactional Attorney for a Houston-based firm that specializes in oil, gas, and mineral law. In this capacity, Mr. Rutledge represented several of the region’s leading energy firms and oil and gas exploration companies in high-stakes litigation.
He secured successful settlements for defendants involved in federal CERCLA claims as well as ADA and ADAAG disputes, and assisted with acquisitions of gas and mineral properties in excess of $100 million.
Mr. Rutledge earned his law degree from South Texas College of Law and his Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics with an emphasis in Policy & Economic Analysis and a Minor in Business from Texas A&M University.
While attending A&M, he served as Senior Class President and Executive Officer of Company E-2 in the Corps of Cadets. He also received a Certificate in Leadership Study and Development from the University’s School of Military Sciences.
