
Brandon P. Leahy is an associate in the Palo Alto office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he practices trademark, copyright, and advertising law. He advises clients on all aspects of brand protection and enforcement in the U.S. and internationally, including clearance and selection of trademarks, prosecution of trademark applications, and licensing and transactions.
He also represents clients in federal court litigation, in disputes before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and in arbitration proceedings involving domain names.Before joining the firm, Brandon was an associate attorney at Duane Morris LLP in San Francisco, where he practiced intellectual property law and general commercial litigation.
He also spent two years serving as a judicial clerk under Justice Joyce Kennard of the California Supreme Court. While attending law school, Brandon worked as a research assistant for trademark scholar J. Thomas McCarthy, author of the leading treatise McCarthy on Trademarks and Unfair Competition.
