Branson Lee represents real estate investment funds, REITs, and other alternative investment vehicles in matters related to their formation, equity and debt securities offerings, joint venture negotiations, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance. Before joining the firm, Branson focused his practice primarily on federal and state tax aspects of partnership and corporate transactions.
Branson received his LL.M. in taxation in 2013 from New York University School of Law; his J.D., with honors, in 2012 from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where he was a staff member of the North Carolina Law Review; and his B.S. in 2009 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a double major in business administration and economics.
