Brea M. Croteau focuses her practice on internal investigations and white collar crime. She represents corporations and individuals in federal and state regulatory investigations and enforcement matters. Prior to joining the firm, Brea worked as a business litigation associate in the Atlanta, Georgia office of an national law firm where she represented both plaintiff and defendants in a wide variety of civil litigation matters including breach of contract, property rights litigation, business torts, fraud and misrepresentation claims, products liability, and personal injury actions.
While attending law school, Brea served as a legal extern in the Major Crimes Division of the United States Attorney’s Office in the Northern District of Georgia where she assisted with all aspects of criminal investigations and prosecutions.
Brea also served as a graduate research assistant to Professor Jonathan Todres where she conducted extensive legal research on children’s rights issues and human trafficking.
Brea was a member of the Georgia State Moot Court Board where her team won the Best Brief Award at the 2015 Georgia Intrastate Moot Court Competition. She was also a member of the Georgia State Law Review and served as its Associate Articles Editor.
