
Brent Shultz focuses his transactional practice on the representation of financial institutions and borrowers in complex commercial loans and a variety of other energy-related transactions. Brent has represented clients in connection with syndicated credit facilities involving revolver, term, bridge, letter of credit, and multi-currency features.
He also has experience in oil and gas reserved-based, acquisition, and capital commitment-secured financings. His industry-specific experience includes oil and gas, energy, banking, financial services, construction, maritime, defense, real estate and a range of other industries.
Prior to joining Haynes and Boone, Brent was a financial analyst and strategic planner at ATA Airlines and was responsible for complex financial modeling, budgeting, and financial management. Brent earned his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center, where he graduated magna cum laude and served as the Executive Editor of the Houston Law Review.
