Brett M. Jackson focuses his practice on all aspects of commercial real estate, including financing, development, acquisitions, sales and leasing. His clients include REITs, Fortune 500 companies, developers, private equity funds and nonprofit institutions, with a broad range of asset classes, including hospitality, office, technology, life sciences, retail, industrial and senior housing.
Mr. Jackson also advises clients of the Corporate Practice Group with the real estate aspects of mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Jackson served as a law clerk to the Honorable Nathaniel M. Gorton of the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
During law school, Mr. Jackson was a summer associate at WilmerHale in 2013 and a judicial intern to the Honorable F. Dennis Saylor IV of the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
He was also a member of the National Moot Court team and served as the teaching assistant for a section of the first-year Legal Reasoning, Research & Writing course at Boston College Law School. Before attending law school, Mr. Jackson worked in undergraduate admissions at Boston University.
