Brian Lance has been immersed in the long-term healthcare industry for his entire life, as his family has operated nursing homes in Southern California for the last sixty years. Brian has utilized that invaluable and personal experience by leading the Elder Abuse division at Cartwright Law Firm.
Brian is also well-versed in all areas of general personal injury litigation including complex product liability, premises liability and motor vehicle accident cases. Brian also has experience in employment law and handles discrimination, wrongful termination, and sexual harassment cases.
Brian has also been recognized by the National Trial Lawyers as a Top 40 Under 40 Attorney in the Civil Plaintiff Division and was a finalist for the 2018 Outstanding New Trial Lawyer of the Year award for the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association.
During law school, Brian focused on gaining real, hands-on experience outside of the classroom. Brian was part of the Investor Justice Clinic and assisted poor families and the elderly who had been subjected to financial abuse. Brian also helped new entrepreneurs launch their careers in the Start-up Legal Services Clinic at USF.
