Brian Gordon represents venture-backed technology companies in acquisitions, financing transactions, the negotiation of credit facilities, corporate governance, employment and equity compensation matters and the resolution of day-to-day legal issues.
Brian has closed over 100 venture financing transactions which have raised over US$750 million. A significant part of Brian’s practice is the representation of private equity funds in the acquisition and disposition of portfolio companies, in both control and non-control transactions.
He also routinely serves as counsel to strategic buyers and sellers in M&A transactions. Brian has a sub-specialty in representing restaurant and retail groups in private equity and acquisition transactions.
Brian is the Pro Bono Partner for the Atlanta office and serves on the North American Pro Bono Committee. He is also on the Board of Directors of Georgia Appleseed and the Board of Trustees of the Friends School of Atlanta. He serves as outside counsel to Feeding America.
