Brian M. Murphy represents clients on a wide range of transactional matters, with a focus in the payments, digital commerce, and technology sectors. Brian regularly advises his clients on joint ventures and other strategic business alliances, complex commercial arrangements, large-scale transaction processing and network participation agreements, digital wallet and other emerging payments initiatives, technology transfer and licensing transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and outsourcing arrangements.
Brian also advises clients in the energy and consumer products industries and provides general corporate advice to his clients. Brian combines a thorough understanding of business transactions and the legal and regulatory issues that impact his clients to provide representation that meets their business and legal needs.
Brian is a member of the Eversheds Sutherland (US) Payments and Digital Commerce Team and is a member of the Technology, Outsourcing and Procurement (TOP) team. Before joining the firm, Brian served as a law clerk for the Harrison Institute for Public Law and was a summer associate for an Atlanta law firm.
Brian is a member of the business law section of the State Bar of Georgia as well as a member of the Atlanta Bar Association. He is a graduate of the Georgetown University Law School and was student note editor of the Georgetown Immigration Law Journal.
