
A member of the firm’s Fund Formation & Investment Management practice, Brian May represents fund sponsors in structuring and negotiating co-investments, joint ventures and other investment opportunities in a wide range of real estate investment strategies.
He also represents fund sponsors in negotiating and forming real estate private equity funds. In addition, he represents buyers and sellers in connection with stock and asset acquisitions and divestitures, mergers, joint ventures, financings, reorganizations, stockholder arrangements, and similar transactions.
Prior to joining Mayer Brown in 2001, Brian was an associate at a prominent law firm in Los Angeles and served as a law clerk to Chief Judge Carolyn Dineen King of the US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
