
Briana N. Lathon joined Stoll Keenon Ogden in 2018 as an Associate in the Louisville office. She is part of the Business Litigation practice group and is a member of the SKO diversity committee. Briana brings an insightful problem-solving approach to the firm, drawing on her background in political science, community leadership and human rights.
Briana graduated from Centre College in 2015 and the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law in 2018, where she earned her J.D. with cum lade distinction. While in college, Briana was recognized with several awards, and served as Black Law Student Association President and Kentucky Derby Festival Queen.
In 2015, Briana was named a Brandeis Human Rights Advocacy Fellow by the University of Louisville and Louisville Bar Foundation. She currently serves as the chair of the Brandeis School of Law Diversity Alumni Council.
Business Litigation: Briana is part of a litigation team that handles business disputes ranging from single breaches of contract to multi-party, class-action conflicts. Regardless of the intricacies involved in a particular case, Briana works to resolve matters effectively and efficiently, while remaining focused on the client’s objectives.
She conducts business research, handles discovery requests, and drafts legal documents that include motions as well as demand and litigation hold letters.
