Britt V. Bethea had a difficult choice of careers after high school. As talented musician, he was torn between a major in music, law and medicine.
But a family accident helped steer him toward a career in law. His father had been hit by a drunk driver causing his car to flip, leaving him in the hospital for five days.
That accident narrowed the musician’s career choice. But he still continued his love for music, attending the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York.
Britt was born in Pensacola, FL, and grew up in Mobile, AL. He has always been an active participant in his school and community. During law school, he received the Judge Hodnett Academic Merit Scholarship and the Dean’s Service Award.
Britt was also selected by his peers to join the Bench and Bar Legal Honor Society, the John A. Campbell Moot Court Board, and the Trial Advocacy Competition Class.
