Brittany Bussola Paz is a criminal defense lawyer with the law firm Ruane Attorneys in Connecticut. Her practice areas also include litigation, appeals, sex crime, DUI & DWI. The National Trial Lawyers named her in the Top 40 Under 40 for criminal law in the year 2018.

She graduated Magna cum Laude from the University of Miami while obtaining her Bachelor’s of Arts degree in 2009. She went on to attend the Quinnipiac University School of Law and served as an intern at the Public Defender’s Office while studying there.
She obtained her Juris Doctor Degree while graduating Magna cum Laude in the year 2012. She secured the license to practice law in the state of Connecticut in the same year by successfully passing the bar exam.
Brittany B. Paz began her legal career by joining the law firm Pattis & Smith in New Haven and brought successful resolutions for over 100 defendants in criminal cases while working there for five years.
She handled a wide range of Part A cases from motor vehicle infractions to trials in pressing felony cases in the Geographical Area courts. She has also argued before the Second Circuit Court of Appeals and the Connecticut Appellate Court in more than twelve appeals.
In 2018, she started the Law Office of Brittany B. Paz with an aim to offer the unique legal experience of zealous representation to her clients at low rates. She continued with her criminal defense practice until she joined her current law firm in 2019.
