While still in law school, she worked as an Intern with the Colorado Public Defender’s office and gained experience in negotiations, motion writing, evidentiary hearings, trials, and sentencing hearings while handling the caseload of more than twenty cases.
Before studying law, she completed her Bachelors of Arts in Communications from the University of Denver in 2008.
