Brooke Ehrlich

Brooke Ehrlich is an associate in the Fort Lauderdale office of Weiss Serota Helfman Cole & Bierman, P.L. Her primary areas of practice include employment litigation, labor law, commercial litigation, and appellate law. In the labor and employment field, Ms. Ehrlich handles discrimination charges and lawsuits brought against public and private entities pursuant to state and federal anti-discrimination and wage and hour laws, including Title VII, the FLSA, the ADEA, the Florida Civil Rights Act, and the Florida Whistle-blower’s Act.

She advises local governments and corporate clients with respect to employee discipline, retention and termination, employment manuals and policies, and contract interpretation. Prior to joining us, Ms. Ehrlich practiced for seven years as a civil litigator at a mid-sized law firm, where she focused on employment law, in addition to products liability, casualty, and commercial law.

She graduated cum laude from Nova Southeastern University Law School, where she served as Articles Editor of the Journal of International and Comparative Law. As a member of the Moot Court Honor Society, Ms. Ehrlich twice competed in the Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition and helped coach her team to the semi-finals in 2008.

While in law school, she was a Research Assistant for her Contracts and Legal Research and Writing professors. She won the Book Award for Legal Research and Writing.
