Brooke E. Loucks’s practice centers exclusively on medical malpractice defense litigation. She has diverse experience in researching and writing, coupled with a mentorship by seasoned medical malpractice attorneys, which has shaped her into an innovative, efficient, and dedicated attorney. Brooke’s ability to do real time jury research and investigation has proven to be a real asset to the team and to the clients we represent.
A Charlotte native, Brooke E. Loucks graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a minor in Political Science from Clemson University. Her undergraduate passion in journalism and human rights issues inspired her desire to study law. Upon graduation from Clemson, Brooke attended Wake Forest University School of Law.
While in law school, she worked at a think tank in London, collaborating with members of Parliament and later completed a summer associate position with Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, as well as serving as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Frank Whitney, United States Chief District Judge. Upon graduation from Wake Forest School of Law, she returned to Charlotte and joined Shumaker.
Brooke loves living in North Carolina and enjoying all that the Charlotte area has to offer, including close proximity to the North and South Carolina coasts, as well as the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. In her free time, Brooke enjoys football, music, and outdoor activities. She is happiest when she is relaxing with friends and family at the beach or cheering on the Clemson Tigers and Carolina Panthers.
