Bryan focuses his practice on the prosecution of mechanical patent applications, where he has experience in a wide variety of technical arts. Bryan’s patent experience pertains to a range of technologies including medical devices, image forming apparatuses (e.g., printers), telecommunications, packaging machines and processes, automotive brake systems, hygiene products, heat exchangers, firearms and sporting equipment.
He has worked with and prosecuted patents for large, multinational corporations, as well as for individual inventors and startup companies. Bryan also focuses on strategic client counseling regarding patent portfolio management.
He engages in patentability studies, validity opinions, infringement opinions, and prior art searches. His background also includes work for the United States Navy, and he has great familiarity with submersibles and submarine systems, including HVAC systems.
Clients can expect prompt, effective, and competent counsel. Bryan will always provide an honest assessment regarding patent protection strategies by always considering the costs and benefits of any suggested approach.
