Mr. C. Lawrence Orlansky concentrates his practice in the areas of business litigation, gaming law, and professional liability and ethics. He chairs the firm’s Gaming Practice Group, is a member of the firm’s Management Committee, and serves as the firm’s loss prevention and ethics counsel. Mr. Orlansky joined Stone Pigman in 1984.

Professional and Civic Activities:
Mr. Orlansky is a member of the American, Federal, Louisiana State and New Orleans Bar Associations. He is on the Board of Trustees of the International Association of Gaming Advisors. He serves as a Master in the American Inns of Court and is a Fellow of the Louisiana Bar Foundation.
Mr. Orlansky has served as an arbitrator for the National Association of Securities Dealers (now FINRA). He has served in various capacities on the Louisiana State Bar Association Continuing Legal Education Committee, and has served as a member of the LSBA Committee on Bar Admissions as an Assistant Examiner in Federal Jurisdiction and Procedure.
He has chaired and spoken at numerous seminars on issues relating to litigation practice, ethics, and professionalism. He previously served on the Noncompetition Legislation Task Force of the Louisiana Association for Business and Industry.
Mr. Orlansky served as law clerk to the Honorable Adrian G. Duplantier, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, 1983-84. Mr. Orlansky is active in, and has served on boards of, numerous civic and charitable organizations, including as Past Board Chair of the South-Central Region of the Anti-Defamation League and of the URJ Henry S. Jacobs Camp.
He has served as a member of the Executive Committee and the Board of Trustees of Touro Synagogue in New Orleans, and he has served on the boards of the Jewish Federation of Greater New Orleans, the Jewish Children’s Regional Service, and Congregation Gates of Prayer.
