Caitlin R. Convery’s practice focuses on creditor’s rights, insurance matters and counterclaim defense. She manages a network of local firms throughout the United States and provides guidance and assistance at all stages of litigation, including pre-trial settlement negotiations, discovery and dispositive motions drafting, case management hearings and post-judgment enforcement. Caitlin also assists clients in resolving garnishment-related defaults and judgments.
Before attending law school, Caitlin worked as a legal administrative assistant at Shook. She rejoined the firm after earning her J.D. and serving as counsel to a start-up in Washington, D.C., where she provided legal advice on managing and reducing legal risks for the business during the formation and initial growth stages.
Caitlin also maintains an interest in international law and politics. During law school, she worked as a legislative assistant for a leading insurance company, monitoring the interests of the company at the state, federal and international levels and providing support in the areas of law, policy, communications, research, public relations and political compliance.
Caitlin has also interned with a member of the U.S. House of Representatives and with the Irish Parliament (Oireachtas).
