
Candace Veronica Fay focuses her practice in areas such as personal injury law, criminal law, family & matrimonial law, real estate transactions & litigation, commercial litigation, landlord or tenant matters, contract disputes, probate & elder law, and employment litigation. She formed her law firm named Candace V. Fay in 2012.
She has acquired the license to practice in New York, Connecticut, the United States Supreme Court, the United States District Courts(Southern and Eastern Districts of New York), the United States District Court of Connecticut, and the Second Circuit of the United States Court of Appeals.
Candace Fay obtained the bachelor of arts degree in 2001 from the University of Connecticut. She went to the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2007 to get a law degree. She was also the Executive Editor of the Public Interest Law Journal there.
She worked in strategic marketing communications and consumer analysis for four years, before entering law school. This experience helps her in better understanding the practical concerns of commercial clients.
Attorney Fay served as a law clerk to esteemed Honorable Holly B. Fitzsimmons of the United States District Court of Connecticut, after completing law school. She later practiced with Levett Rockwood’s litigation group in Westport, CT. Later, she founded her law firm.
She is an active member of Danbury Bar Association, the American Bar Association, Federal Court’s Public Outreach Committee, Connecticut Bar Association, Femfessionals, Fairfield County Bar Association, and Connecticut Inns of Court.
Attorney Candace Fay has also served on the Board of the Western Connecticut YMCA, the FRIENDS of the Danbury Library, and the Danbury Zoning Commission.
