Candice M. Carson is an associate in the Business Finance & Restructuring Department of Weil, resident in the Firm’s Dallas office. Ms. Carson’s practice focuses primarily on chapter 11 cases. She has played a role on Weil teams representing AMR Corporation/American Airlines, Inc., Blockbuster, and General Motors in connection with their chapter 11 proceedings.
Ms. Carson is actively involved in providing pro bono services to the local community. Ms. Carson has been involved with drafting a criminal appeal based on violations of the 6th amendment and filing for immigration relief for a domestic violence victim under the Violence Against Women Act.
Ms. Carson received her B.A. from University of Florida in 2007 and her J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2010. During law school, Ms. Carson served on the International Law Journal.
