Carly Kessler is an associate in the New York office of Robins Kaplan LLP. Ms. Kessler attended law school at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, and earned her Bachelor of Science degree at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, where she graduated magna cum laude.
During law school, Ms. Kessler gained valuable courtroom and trial experience when she spent one semester as a full-time Student Assistant District Attorney at the New York County District Attorney’s Office participating in court calls and assisting in misdemeanor and felony cases.
Also during law school, Ms. Kessler served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Ronald A. Guzman in the Northern District of Illinois and spent two summers interning at the Lake County Illinois State’s Attorney’s Office where she participated in jury and bench trials.
Additionally, Ms. Kessler was the Articles Editor for the Cardozo Public Law, Policy and Ethics Journal and the Managing Editor for Cardozo’s school newspaper, The Jurist.
Ms. Kessler is a regular contributor to the Robins Kaplan Trial Attorneys blog, where she provides insights into the legal issues facing the Entertainment and Media industry.
