Carol L. Weitzel has extensive knowledge of Pennsylvania’s taxing policies and procedures. She has many years’ experience including having served as Secretary of Pennsylvania’s Board of Finance and Revenue under the State Treasurer’s administration and later Chief of the Tax Litigation Section of the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s office until 2017.
She has helped to craft numerous tax settlements and litigation strategies involving a broad range of individual and corporate taxpayers. Pennsylvania’s taxing laws, policies and procedures often present difficult questions and challenging solutions. The kinds of experience Carol has can be helpful in navigating this landscape.
Carol served for many years as an outside judge for Penn State Dickinson Law School’s appellate moot court program. She also has served as a judge for Widener University School of Law’s Moot Court Honor Society’s Annual Harrisburg-Delaware Oral Advocacy Competition.
