Carolyn Zander Alford focuses on leveraged finance, representing financial institutions, funds, sponsors and issuers. Her experience spans syndicated acquisition financings, asset-based lending, private placements and mezzanine/second lien structures. Carolyn leads our Finance practice and also serves on our managing Policy Committee.
With specific industry experience in healthcare, pharma, energy, telecom and media, Carolyn represents a wide range of financial services clients. She counsels lenders, investors, borrowers and issuers in leveraged finance, asset-based lending, private placements, unitranche, first lien/second lien and mezzanine financings, and both leveraged and investment-grade lending transactions.
Carolyn is a fellow of the American College of Investment Counsel, where she currently serves as President, and the American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers, where she currently serves on the Nominating Committee.
She recently served as a director and Executive Committee member of ClearPoint Financial, a national not-for-profit organization that provides consumer credit counseling and financial education.
