Carrie grew up in a small town in Illinois, but gravitated towards the “big city” after high school for college and law school. That college was North Central College in Naperville, Illinois, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Management.
Taking courses at Black Hawk College in Kewanee, Illinois, while still in high school allowed Carrie to graduate early from North Central. At North Central, she was on the Dean’s List and the Student Council.
Carrie also had the opportunity to spend the summer between her sophomore and junior years of college in Singapore where she lived and worked for Allied International.
Carrie went on to receive her J.D. degree from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois. Since then, she has become licensed in two states – Illinois and Arizona.
She has distinguished herself as a speaker as well, presenting on “Advanced Child and Spousal Support Issues” at a BNI seminar, on grandparent visitation at a Kinship Support Group and at the Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law Practice Area Career Fair two years in a row.
