Casey Bradford

Casey Bradford advises clients on critical environmental matters across the United States in the context of regulatory counseling, policy development, business transactions, and enforcement defense. She has extensive experience in Clean Air Act matters, including New Source Review and greenhouse gas regulation.

Her experience includes challenging major federal and state proposed rules for regional haze, interstate transport, hazardous air pollutants, and startup, shutdown, and malfunction emissions. In response to final rules, she represents clients in challenging new requirements through agency reconsideration and judicial review.

In public and private transactions, Casey works with clients to recognize deal-specific environmental concerns and develop innovative options for management of material liabilities. She also works on environmental enforcement and compliance issues.

Casey has defended clients against Clean Air Act lawsuits filed by the United States and citizen plaintiffs, and she regularly assists clients in responding to agency requests for information and notices of violation under the Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, and other environmental laws.

Casey serves on the Board of Directors for the Women’s Energy Network, Atlanta Chapter, and the Advisory Board for Rivers Alive, a state outreach program to support Georgia’s annual volunteer waterway cleanup. She is also the partner coordinator for Jones Day’s Summer Associate Program in Atlanta.
