Catherine S. Mitros is an associate in Venable’s Trademark and Copyright Group in Washington, DC. She counsels clients on U.S. and international trademark clearance, prosecution, and enforcement across a wide variety of industries and assists with Trademark Trial and Appeal Board proceedings.
Prior to joining Venable, Catherine was an associate attorney at an IP boutique law firm, where she provided representation on trademark disputes, including sending and responding to cease and desist letters and conducting research in anticipation of litigation.
Catherine has also negotiated and prepared intellectual property licenses, assignments, and consent agreements. Catherine graduated cum laude from the University of Notre Dame Law School. While in law school, she served as Note Editor for the Notre Dame Journal of Law, Ethics & Public Policy.
